Rock The Bells Newark Concert reviews
Not great
A concert with Rock The Bells, Poison, M枚tley Cr眉e, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts was more than exciting first off. We've been waiting on this for two years, but the fact remains that all we could hear was loud music, not one word of the lyrics. The music wasn't clear enough, making it necessary to listen really hard to decipher the songs - seriously, we couldn't hear the words. Even when we managed to figure out the songs, singing along and having a good time didn't make it a great concert. Between sets, people were discussing the issue, so it wasn't just us feeling this way. We asked those around us and even moved down to the lower level to see if there was a difference, but unfortunately, there wasn't. You would expect better reception at a venue of this size and magnitude, but that wasn't the case. I believe that concerts should deliver more than what we paid for; at one point, I tried to talk to someone about it, but it seemed like they didn't care much.
